TPO has achieved VouchedFor Top Rated company status for the FIFTH consecutive year (2020 - 2024). 

In the same way customers use Trustpilot when they are going on holiday or Google Reviews if they are looking for a local restaurant, VouchedFor is a trusted third-party review service for professional services such as financial advisers, mortgage advisers, solicitors, and accountants. 

VouchedFor aim to help clients research highly rated, local firms so that clients can find the right company for them, quickly and easily. In short, VouchedFor takes the legwork out of the research process when looking for a Financial Adviser. 

VouchedFor features and benefits

To be listed with VouchedFor, all advisers must be regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). This ensures that advisers are suitably qualified to provide financial advice and that clients are protected. You can view TPO’s profile on the FCA register here. 

In addition, VouchedFor check and publish all adviser-related certificates as evidence of their qualifications. These can be viewed and downloaded if required. This provides clients with peace of mind knowing that they are engaging with a legitimate and qualified adviser. 

VouchedFor pride themselves on going to extraordinary lengths to ensure that the client reviews on their website are genuine.  

Reviews are provided purely by clients and advisers are asked to verify that each reviewer is a genuine client before they can leave a review. 

There is no cost to the client as advisers and advice firms pay a subscription to be listed on the VouchedFor website. So, clients can read as many reviews as they like before choosing an adviser to contact. 

Different types of review

First impression reviews

You only get one attempt to make a good first impression! When TPO advisers speak to a potential client for the first time it is usually over the phone or Microsoft Teams in the first instance. Whilst the adviser will listen to understand and explain how TPO may be able to help, equally the potential client will be deciding whether this is a company they want to work with. One day later, potential clients are invited via email to provide a brief comment about their experience with the adviser. You can see what potential clients say about our advisers and these reviews are identified as ‘from a user who is not yet a client'.

Annual reviews

New and existing clients are invited to provide feedback following an annual or ongoing review meeting. The invite is sent automatically two days after the meeting via email so that the experience is still fresh in the client’s mind. There is a short questionnaire asking how the adviser has met the client’s expectations and whether there is anything they could have done better. These reviews are identified as ‘Review from verified client'.

VouchedFor want to give potential clients a full picture of how advisers have helped other clients like themselves. The combination of different review types helps to give that full picture. All reviews (whether they are good or bad), that are verified, are published. However, it is also important that advisers have a public right of reply and so they can post a response. VouchedFor maintain the right to withdraw any abusive reviews.
