Merve Oral

I always had a keen interest in financial markets and wanted to understand their seemingly complex underlying mechanisms.

Originally from Germany, I read BSc Business Management and Economics at the Ruhr University Bochum and decided to apply for a postgraduate degree in MSc Quantitative Financial Economics at the University of East Anglia to specialise in Investment Analysis.

After successfully graduating in September 2017, I started working as a Graduate Trainee at a local IFA in Norwich, which allowed me to develop comprehensive technical expertise in Financial Planning. In May 2019, I joined the Financial Planning Executive Academy at The Private Office and was given the opportunity to progress into a client-facing role and achieve my long-term objective of becoming a qualified Adviser.
