Having read Chemistry at Oxford University, I joined the financial services industry and now have over 25 years’ experience as a financial planner.
I strongly believe in a holistic approach to financial planning and have been using cashflow modelling since 2003 to enable this. I am highly qualified as a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, Chartered Financial Planner and an Affiliate of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).
I aim to be a client’s trusted adviser and first port of call in financial decision making. I look after a wide range of private clients and have a broad knowledge across all areas, including pre- and post-retirement planning and tax-efficient investment planning.
I often advise clients in conjunction with their other advisers and I have several clients who sadly lack capacity and are looked after by the Court of Protection. I help their deputies/ attorneys manage their affairs.
I have expertise in inheritance tax planning and finding effective ways to structure family assets in order to take advantage of the various reliefs available for mitigating liabilities.
What drives me?
I have lived in Ealing since 2000 and have an energetic primary school age son, so my weekend activities are focussed on him. Additionally, I enjoy cycling (participating and watching) and an annual trip to Belgium is normally planned before the family holiday.
