Janet van der Hoven
I have worked in the financial services industry for a number of years and have experience across a variety of roles, ranging from consultancy work with adviser firms to joining The Private Office as a Financial Planning Executive, before qualifying as a regulated Adviser.
I've immersed myself within this role and have developed a broad range of experience dealing with high net worth clients seeking wealth management solutions and assurance for their financial future.
Originally from South Africa, I moved to the UK at the age of 16. From a young age, I relished the opportunity to study and first read law in Bristol before finding my passion for financial services, and in particular financial wealth planning.
My exposure to law has driven a particular interest in clients who are going through life changing events such as divorce, personal injury and clinical negligence.
I'm also a great believer in inter-generational planning and looking after the whole family unit to help drive better tax efficiencies. I'm passionate about helping clients plan for their financial future and find that cash flow modelling is integral to any financial plan and should underpin the basis on which to build a secure financial future.
What drives me?
I enjoy travelling and exploring the world. In particular, challenging adventure holidays has become a high priority and wherever possible I like to incorporate charitable elements to them.
